Viadux is more than just a tall building. It features a state-of-the-art gym, a glittering swimming pool set within historic railway arches, a chic bar, and even a karaoke pod. This unique combination of amenities ensures residents experience a lifestyle that is both modern and richly connected to Manchester’s history.

Tasked by the renowned design studio White Circle, JSJ UK delivered bespoke joinery manufacturing for the gym, a centrepiece of Viadux’s luxury offerings. Our goal was to create an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and welcoming, using high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship.

Craftsmanship Details

• Materials Used: MDF with oak veneer for panelling, MFC wood with oak veneer for lockers
• Area Covered: 340m2 of wall and ceiling panelling
• Design Features: Slatted ceilings and tactile, luxurious lockers

Working in a building that was still under construction presented unique challenges, especially on our seventh-floor site. We adapted to daily changes, using external hoists, lifts (when operational), and even stairs to transport materials and equipment. Our team’s flexibility and problem-solving skills ensured smooth progress and high standards despite these obstacles.

The completed gym showcases exceptional woodwork, contributing to Viadux’s status as one of Manchester’s most desirable residences. The meticulous attention to detail and the ability to adapt to an ever-evolving construction environment has resulted in a space that exudes both elegance and functionality.
