Thanks to JSJ UK’s extensive experience in hospitality and leisure fitouts, we were thrilled to welcome one of the UK’s flagship pub chains for this project. Appointed by a leading contractor based in the North West, our team delivered bespoke joinery manufacturing for a brand new site in London.

Located just a stone’s throw from London Euston Station, the establishment transformed one of Camden borough’s last remaining gentlemen’s clubs into a vibrant pub. This dramatic overhaul required our expert team to handle several key elements of the fitout.

Central to any pub’s charm is its bar, and we were tasked with creating a sweeping, granite-topped bar area complete with drinks shelves. The extensive wall panelling, designed to create a cosy and inviting atmosphere, showcases our craftsmanship, while the tongue and groove panelling on the ceiling, offset by ornate mouldings, adds an elevated touch to the pub’s overall impression.

Our skilled joiners crafted and installed a bespoke banister for the staircase and were responsible for the detailed fitout of the pub toilets. The scheme heavily featured ash timbers and veneers, evoking a traditional and welcoming mood.

Working simultaneously with builders, plasterers, plumbers, and other trades required careful communication and logistical management. The compact space, busy location, and tight delivery timescales added to the challenges.

Despite these hurdles, we completed the project on time and to our trademark exceptional standards. Now operational, the bustling pub has breathed new life into a once-tired building, becoming an inviting and thriving space.

Following the successful completion of this project, we were soon appointed to deliver a refurbishment with the same client and pub chain in Manchester, coupled with the delivery of another brand-new location in Waterloo, London.
