The Pavilion, Stoke-on-Trent

Client: Workspace Design & Build

We were appointed by our longstanding client, Workspace Design & Build, to transform a blank, open-plan office into a functional, multi-room workspace for global commercial real estate firm, Avison Young.

The project formed part of Avison Young’s relocation of its East Midlands team to the newly built Pavilion building within Capital&Centric’s Goods Yard neighbourhood in Stoke-on-Trent. Our brief was clear: create a workspace that aligned with the modern, collaborative character of Goods Yard, while reflecting Avison Young’s prestigious global brand identity, and we did exactly that.

We transformed the reception area with striking feature walls, including a brick wall with iron bars and individually slotted bricks reflecting the firm’s housing heritage and a living moss wall featuring the company logo. A solid-surface reception desk was custom-made to fit the space, providing a durable, welcoming arrival point.

Behind the reception, we installed a fully bespoke AV wall, a bank of lockers, and a comfortable breakaway area with informal work settings to support collaboration and flexible working. All bespoke joinery was designed and crafted by our award-winning in-house team, ensuring a consistent, high-quality finish throughout the space.

Delivered over a five-week programme and completed ahead of schedule, the project transformed a blank canvas into a modern, characterful office that supports the firm’s operational needs and future growth within East Midlands.

We were thrilled to apply our expertise in creating beautifully crafted, visually striking joinery features, while also delivering a suite of elements expected of a premium office space.
