We recently completed an exciting transformation of a high-quality hospitality suppliers’ headquarters in Derbyshire, delivering this time-sensitive project ahead of schedule, under budget, and within a tight six-week timeframe, without compromising on quality craftmanship.

Appointed as the principal contractor by our longstanding client, Graham + Sibbald, we were entrusted with expanding the company’s office space to support their scaling operations. As one of the UK’s leading suppliers of glassware and tableware to pubs and restaurants, the firm required a sophisticated yet functional workspace that reflects their brand. This involved demolishing an existing office and transforming the area into a modern, open-plan layout that seamlessly connects the sample department and office spaces. 

Our brief was to complete the fast-track programme within two phases, working with the client for continuity and without affecting their usual business operations. Starting in early December, our team moved quickly, demolishing walls and installing steel columns to create partitions, extending the existing sample room by 90m².

The new year soon marked the beginning of phase two, which involved a full office fit-out to accommodate their growing workforce. To provide a seamless, turnkey service, we managed every detail, from completing new lighting, flooring, timber doors, and windows to final painting for a fresh and vibrant finish in the 80m2 space.

Achieving critical deadlines for our clients demands precision and flexibility. We worked out of hours, safely separated our working area to contain our space, and carefully coordinated each phase to allow the office and warehouse’s business operations to continue as normal.

Our agile approach to working with our client’s critical requirements lead to us handing over a full week ahead of the programme.

Now, as the firm enters its 25th year, their Derbyshire headquarters boasts an ultra-modern, sophisticated space, designed to foster collaboration and provides the perfect setting to showcase their glassware and tableware to hospitality industry leaders.
