We have recently completed one of our most prestigious projects, a luxury commercial fit-out overlooking Tower Bridge for international law firm Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD). The brief included the manufacturing and installation of a 30m x 5m suspended timber feature, showcasing the artistry and precision of our bespoke joinery craftmanship.

This project marks our second collaboration with WBD, following the successful delivery of their Newcastle branch in 2022. Partnering once again with award-winning interior designers ADT Workplace, we leveraged our capabilities even further to meet a design brief that reflects WBD’s corporate brand while complementing the iconic location.

Delivered within a tight 10-week timeline, our brief encompassed a range of high-end features, including an elegant, curved solid-surface reception desk, paired with a dynamic feature screen that illuminates WBD’s logo as clients and staff enter the building.

Our spectacular custom-made timber ceiling feature flows throughout the office floor. Mounted across half the length of the 60m ceiling and made up of more than 200 individual pieces, each part was crafted over a five-week period at our Lancashire HQ, then carefully packed and transported over 200 miles to site. The implementation process spanned six weeks and required meticulous attention to detail, resulting in a stunning display that makes the space unique and memorable.

Meanwhile at the heart of the space, we manufactured and installed a plush bar featuring opulent Corian tops and sleek gold mesh sliding doors for beverage storage. The area serves as a chic setting for WBD to host clients and events, a crucial element reflecting the global law firm’s brand within their workplace.

The scope of work also encompassed key elements that define our joinery and fit-out expertise, including a reception area, breakout spaces with fitted desks, multiple tea points, and a high-spec wellbeing room; a tranquil environment designed for relaxation and prayer. A standout feature is the slatted wall panelling with flush secret doors leading to storage rooms; a functional JSJ UK solution that is increasingly popular with our clients.

Delivering such a high-profile project in a busy tourist and business hotspot also presented significant logistical challenges. Navigating strict parking restrictions, traffic congestion, and limited site access required thorough coordination. With all materials brought in through the basement and transported via lift to the designated floor, every delivery had to be meticulously planned. However, thanks to our extensive experience handling complex projects in central London, we maximised efficiency and optimised time, resources, and craftsmanship throughout – enabling us to hand over the time-critical project on time for other contractors to begin their works without delay.
