Specialist bespoke joinery manufacturer JSJ UK has completed its sixth project for a leading UK healthcare provider, delivering all elements of handcrafted joinery for its new flagship health centre in London Euston.
Having already delivered new health centres for the same client in Edinburgh, Essex, Hertfordshire, Manchester and West Sussex, the new facility will provide a range of health services using state-of-the-art equipment over two floors.
From wall panelling to reception desks, WC cubicles and bespoke screens providing privacy, JSJ UK delivered every element of bespoke joinery. The 7,830 sq ft health centre comprises multiple handcrafted joinery elements to complete the facility, which includes 10 health assessment rooms, seven GP rooms, eight mammogram units and a dedicated mammogram room, a reception area and waiting room, a staff room, plentiful office and storage space, a shower room, and a changing room.
Working alongside multiple subcontractors on the installation and led by lead contractor TSK Group, JSJ UK manufactured all bespoke joinery elements from its Preston workshop.
Kevin Burton, operations manager at JSJ UK, said: “This marks our sixth project with TSK Group, and it’s the biggest and best facility we’ve delivered yet. Much of the work was bespoke and made to measure, requiring a considerable amount of craftmanship. Quality is paramount for us on any project, but when it contributes to a sense of calm and reassurance for patients undergoing health treatment, it means all the more. We’re delighted to have played our part in bringing this vision for the state-of-the-art health centre to life that puts patient experience first.”
