Project: Office fit-out for global automotive brand

We recently completed a transformative office fit-out for a premium automotive manufacturer, delivering a high-spec overhaul within a tight four-week programme. Appointed to manufacture and install extensive bespoke joinery, we led the fit-out of key communal spaces in the office building, all within a fully operational, live factory environment.

The project was commissioned by a long-standing client for a prestigious British automotive brand’s largest manufacturing plant, a sprawling 300-acre site that produces around 700 vehicles daily and employs more than 9,000 people.

The design centres on a bright, open-plan space that encourages connection, collaboration, and comfort. Our scope included the canteen, seating zones, breakout areas, and welfare spaces, each thoughtfully crafted with flexibility and durability in mind.

Our expertise in diverse seating configurations was applied to create forum seating, bleachers, and acoustic work pods, catering to both group collaboration and focused individual work.

We also crafted a dedicated presentation area to serve a dynamic hub for internal events and visitors. We are increasingly approached by corporate clients to design these versatile spaces, which have become essential elements in modern workplaces.

A spacious, central kitchen acts as the focal point, featuring sleek grey gloss cabinetry, a striking granite-wrapped island, and elegant panelled finishes. Additionally, we delivered high-spec IPS units and vanities that elevate the welfare facilities to the same premium standard as the rest of the fit-out.

All features were carefully crafted in our Preston workshop and meticulously packed and transported to site. Located on the first floor, the fit-out presented the challenge of moving larger, delicate installations upstairs. With extensive experience handling complex deliveries in live environments, we expertly installed everything on schedule, safely and without disrupting the plant’s 24/7 operations.
