JSJ UK delivered a comprehensive bespoke joinery and workplace fit-out package for a globally leading tax services and software provider, as part of its new UK headquarters on the fourth floor of a landmark riverside building at Tower Bridge.

The new UK headquarters combines striking branded features, premium social spaces and bespoke workplace joinery to create a refined, high-performing workspace.

Having successfully completed the Womble Bond Dickinson fit-out on the floor below, the workplace fit-out contractor appointed JSJ UK to deliver the new headquarters. Our existing knowledge of the building’s operational constraints as a live, multi-tenant environment enabled efficient planning and coordination from the outset.

The brief was to create a premium workplace that reflected the client’s global brand while supporting collaboration, wellbeing and day-to-day functionality.

On arrival, visitors are greeted by a bespoke illuminated feature wall showcasing the client’s logo. Finished in white lacquer with a semi-translucent solid surface backdrop, the feature wall creates a striking setting for the client’s logo, while gold powder-coated metal slats subtly define the reception area without disrupting the open-plan feel.

Opposite, a four-metre-long slat wall finished in navy with gold trim detail contains the company’s mission statement and leads to a stunning circular reception desk.

The reception desk is clad in solid surface and incorporates integrated banquette seating and planters, creating a welcoming focal point within the reception.

The social hub forms the centrepiece of the project, with a back-to-back kitchen and coffee bar, creating a premium destination for informal meetings and collaboration.

The kitchen features navy cabinetry with gold handles and a solid surface worktop and splashback, framed by a curved surround and top panels.

The coffee bar includes white base units with solid surface worktops and brushed champagne accents. Mirrored splashbacks, floating shelves, integrated LED lighting and a centrally positioned television complete the space.

Above the social area, two bespoke ceiling rafts enhance the space. Each raft, measuring more than seven metres in length, was handcrafted in our Preston workshop before being carefully transported and installed on site.

Throughout the workspace, bespoke tea points, storage, media walls, planters and lockers reinforce the project’s cohesive material and colour palette.

Manufacturing all joinery elements in our Preston workshop allowed complete control over quality, detailing and finishing, reducing on-site work and supporting a smooth installation programme.

Installation was carefully phased to maintain access for other tenants, with higher-impact activities scheduled outside core operating hours. Close coordination with the workplace fit-out contractor and the wider project team ensured the programme remained on track while accommodating the demands of an occupied building.

The completed workplace combines premium design, bespoke craftsmanship and practical functionality, providing the client with a headquarters that reflects its global brand while supporting collaboration, employee experience and future growth. The project further strengthens JSJ UK’s portfolio of high-end commercial fit-outs across London.
