Project: Jewellery retail fit-out

Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Having manufactured and installed jewellery counters for stores across the UK, we were appointed as the main contractor to deliver a premium, full retail store fit-out for a prestigious Italian jewellery brand expanding its presence in Scotland.

Situated in a leading shopping centre overlooking the River Clyde in Glasgow, the project involved transforming a disused shoe shop into a bright, modern, high-spec retail space.

With just six weeks to complete the works, the programme was fast-tracked from day one. We began by stripping the unit back to its shell and carried out a full internal refurbishment, including new partitions, ceilings, lighting, air conditioning, and shop front signage that aligned with the client’s global brand identity. Welfare facilities were also enhanced to create more comfortable and functional staff areas.

Work on the bespoke displays began earlier in our workshop. Over a two-month period, we manufactured bespoke, white display counters and wall-mounted units from MDF, finishing each with a high-gloss following a multi-stage spraying and burnishing process.

We assembled and installed the glass jewellery display tanks in-house to maintain consistent quality throughout the fit-out, with all components crafted in our Lancashire workshop, before being carefully packed, transported over 200 miles, and expertly installed on site by our team.

Delivering the project within a live shopping centre presented a number of logistical challenges, including restricted delivery hours and stringent safety protocols. To safeguard the public and maintain a secure site boundary, we produced bespoke hoarding in our workshop and implemented a flexible schedule to accommodate out-of-hours deliveries.

Thanks to our team’s extensive experience in retail environments, the project was smoothly coordinated from start to finish, enabling us to hand over the store on schedule, ready for the client’s successful launch the following day.

Building on the success of this fit-out, we are already working on other projects for the same jewellery brand, further strengthening our reputation as specialists in creating high-quality, functional and innovative retail spaces.
